School

First day of school preschool with the same teacher Mrs. Gullion and Mrs. Jackie. for the 2nd year. It made it really easy to go back since you already knew Lauren, Holly, Justina, Cayden, and Darian from last year. Plus you had been playing with them all summer so it was easy to pick up where you left off.

Minion movie

You were begging to see the Minion movie after the advertised it everywhere and on every product. It was a fun family morning that was enjoyed by all.

Fair

We went to the Clark county state fair for the 3rd year in a row. You liked the tractors and lawn mowers the best. You liked some of the animals, but not like the past years where you would have moved in to the barns. You were sad that the rides weren't open yet and let us know for hours after the fair. But the lemonade shared helped a bit.

Hershey trip

Our first roadtrip to spend a few days at Hershey park with Gammie, Auntie Christie, Hailey, Emma, And Lucas. You did great on the car ride and were so excited to see everyone. The first day we went on a ride thru the factory and ate at Friendly's. The second day we went to the park where you did every ride some even twice. The last day we got to make our own candy bars before driving the 7 hours home.

Columbus zoo

Our annual free military weekend to Columbus zoo trip. And of course we had to take a picture with this guy.

Ice cream day

For national ice cream day we tried an Ohio staple Greaters. To say  the least you and Max enjoyed feeding each other and eating out of baseball hats.

July 4th

We had a fun filled July 4th weekend. We started with the Fairborn parade that we went to the past few years. You really got into collecting candy and still not a fan of characters. We went to the fireworks too. We did a lot of snaps and sparklers. And even BBQ and Smores.

Boonshoft

We love going to Boonshoft with friends. They had a new exhibit with dinosaurs that everyone enjoyed. And of course the old standbys like animals, recycle truck, water table, grocery store, pizza making and even tire digging.

Family visit

Nana, Grandpa, Auntie Sam, & Uncle Alex came to visit us. We had so much going to Young's, swimming at their hotel, using our water slide, and messing around the house too. Nana stayed for a week after others left. We got to do more fun things like the library, gymnastics class, park playdate, and she even took you to the movies to see Cloudy with a chance of meatballs. At the end of the week we drove her to Indy to see her sister. We went to play at a church play place and ate at Cracker Barrel. 

Great Wolfe Lodge

We spent a night at a water park hotel called Great Wolfe Lodge. You thought the bunk bed tent room was the coolest thing you ever saw. And the climbing statues ranked high too. The water park was fun for swimming and a few kid slides. But we tricked you into going on a bigger family raft ride and you were not a fan. You got to stay up late and spend a lot of time in the arcade.

Kites

For the last week of school there was a kite flying event. It was fun to see you interact with your friends.

Playdate Allen

Allen came over to play for the afternoon. There was water beads, baseball, bikes, cooking, and see saw too.

Mall

The mall got new ride ons which are pretty cool.

Baseball

We took you to the baseball field because you have been getting into playing in the yard.

Bikes

You love to ride any and all bikes you can get your hands on.

Spray park

We went to the spray park with Cayden after the last day of school. There will be many more trips in our summer.

Cayden birthday party

We had a great time at Cayden's party. There was multiple snow cones and a bounce house. But none of that mattered because there was swords.

Cayden's house

We spent a few days last week in Cayden's backyard having water play dates. They have a surf board slide into a pool you went on over and over again. By the 3rd day you were on the giant slip and slide too. You didn't like getting water in your eyes from squirt guns or sprinklers, but had no issues spraying everyone else.

Max's Birthday

On Max's birthday we went to a touch a truck event where you sat in a big tire, school bus, ambulance, fire truck, tow truck, and many more fun trucks. After that we came home for nap time, but went back out to a carnival after that. You had so much fun there and went on every ride twice even by yourself on many. Your fav one was a flying helicopter you got to control how high it went.
